Who Is Garli Medi Tech?
Our Story
Garli Medi Tech was born out of a simple but powerful idea: that every person, regardless of where they live, deserves access to high-quality, culturally respectful healthcare.
Founded by its Directors Jacky Kljucevic, Darren Lundberg and Michael Barlow, Garli Medi Tech is a proud First Nations-owned company that combines clinical services, technology, and commercial leadership. What started as a response to the inequities faced by Aboriginal and remote communities in Australia has grown into a bold, globally connected health-tech company.
Our journey began in communities where access to a doctor wasn’t just difficult; it was often impossible. We saw firsthand the impact of delayed care, misdiagnosis, and limited infrastructure. We also saw the strength of communities, the power of connection, and the opportunity for technology to close the gap.
That’s why we built MediFusion, a clinically-led telehealth platform that enables accurate diagnosis even when a doctor isn’t physically present. From aged care facilities to remote communities, MediFusion is transforming how and where care is delivered.
Our approach focuses on collaboration and partnership, working closely with organisations whose products and services complement our own, creating integrated solutions that deliver meaningful impact across the healthcare ecosystem.
